That One Moment

In our daily lives, not much seems important. That coffee you drank this morning...the news you decided to watch with breakfast...the clothes you wore...
None of it really seems all that interesting.

And even if it all were interesting, the rest of our life wouldn't be very spectacular. We wouldn't be able to be as impressed with worldwide events, much less world domination by aliens. Our ability to undermine our daily tasks makes our brain able to focus on the important things in life. So maybe missing a few mundane things wouldn't be the end of the world. :)
